Top Players Who Impressed At Western Showcase & Elite/HS Shootout Weekend
The annual Western Showcase & Elite/HS Shootout weekend brought in over twenty club programs from all over the western U.S to compete infront of 50+ college coaches on the picturesque fields of El Pomar Park in Colorado Springs. Teams battled across four divisions to claim a highly recognized western title, with four different clubs from three different states (CA, CO, TX) walking away champions. There was a break in regular pool play on day two that featured the high school and elite division all star games. See rosters here.

The All Star rosters were carefully selected by our highly attentive AET evaluators as well as recruiters on site. Among those All Star players were all tournament standouts who reigned above the masses.
Players Who Impressed
Isaiah Dawson (RC): The Harvard bound midfielder is arguably the best in the country in the 2018 class, Dawson was on display this weekend in a big way, leading his team in scoring, making plays all over the field in transition and playing great defense.
Caden Wolfson (RC): Air Force bound defenseman was solid all weekend long, covering each opponents’ best player and shutting them down. He had several nice clears turning defense into offense and helping RC to the title.
Tucker Dordevic (Seattle Starz): The Syracuse commit is slippery, shifty, versatile, and creative Dordevic is a threat from all over the field. He was key in jumpstarting Seattle.
Asher Nolting (Thunder Bolts): The Air Force commit is one of the most underrated attackman in the west, Knolting is virtually unstoppable 1 on 1. He made several great feeds, making everyone around him better.
Wesley Yost (101 Lacrosse HS Elite): the athletic two way midi from 101 lacrosse club, was a very bright spot for this emerging program. He proved he was a rising start all weekend long.
Oisin Mctigue (Chaos 2019): one of more impressive surprises of the wknd, MCtigue stood out in the 2019 grouping with his physical play and slick checks.
Paul Rodrigues (LA Heat): One of the best uncommitted attackman still out there, Rodrigues can hammer the ball from inside and out and has really jacked his game up another level this summer.
Colby Lensing (Denver Elite 2019 Blue): Impressive attackman from Denver Elite, with a great firs step and a nose for the goal. One of many players on a talented Denver Elite ’19 team that made waves all weekend!
Seamus Mcfarland (Dallas Select Rising): The ’18 middie for Dallas Select showed a lot of skill sets on the weekend and was a key cog for a very deep and balanced Dallas team.
Joe Walsh (SD United): SD United 19 Goalie, Walsh was strong in net all weekend, showing great ball stopping ability and strong command of the defense. He has been having a strong summer and continues to get better.
