Gold Cup

The Adrenaline Gold Cup was created with the sole intention of bringing the best national club programs together in an organized and effective recruitment environment. Teams are guaranteed five games throughout the weekend, competing for the ultimate prize of the Gold Cup Championship in front of top NCAA college recruiters from all levels. Teams and players are treated to a first class experience from the most professional team in events with 22 years of event operational experience. Premium facilities, vendor village, block scheduling and personal and attentive staffs ensure that every member of the team and family has an enjoyable experience. The Adrenaline Gold Cup will attract recruiters from all levels of collegiate programs and allows them to see athletes play within the framework of a structured, systematic, team environment.  ADRLN reps onsite to mindfully recommend to coaches and their players other events that could be a good fit and value for them to attend in order to provide further collegiate exposure opportunities (Platinum Cup, Black Card, etc).

Adrenaline’s vision is to capture the distinct aspects of each city we visit and provide a regional experience for the thousands of people in attendance. In order to accomplish this, Adrenaline curates the best food, shopping, and entertainment options in each location, and showcases them in the Adrenaline Vendor Village. Find out more about what to do off field with your team on our Dover Overview tab.

Adrenaline has a STAY-TO-PLAY policy for all events. All teams based outside of 75 miles of the event must book contracted hotels through our housing partner- NO exceptions. Teams based within 75 miles of the event venue are exempt from STAY-TO-PLAY.

Aligned Event is a designation given to independently owned and operated events that have chosen to follow a set of operational and safety guidelines set forward by USA Lacrosse. These tournament guidelines are a set of best practices that cover six main areas of an event: USA Lacrosse membership & age verification, game format, venue, risk management, event administration, and certified officials. When these practices are adopted in their entirety, events create a more positive experience for participants while receiving insurance and marketing benefits from USA Lacrosse.

COACHES CONDUCT

Adrenaline Name & Shield

COACHES & DIRECTORS EXPECTATIONS

As a Coach/Director, I understand that:

  • All of my players must be registered/paid prior to stepping foot on the field.  Any player not registered/paid will not be permitted to play.
  • Eligibility requirements, at all levels of the game, must be followed.  Rules and requirements such as age, previous level of participation, and team transfers, have been established to encourage and maximize participation, fair play and to promote safety.  Adrenaline Tournament Rules can be found on each event page.
  • I should always demonstrate positive behavior and reinforce these traits to players, parents, officials and spectators.  Players should be encouraged by coaches to demonstrate positive behavior and respect for teammates, opponents, officials and spectators.
  • Spectators will be informed that positive behavior is required at all events and they should not get involved in any on field disputes.
  • My first priority is the health and safety of the players assigned to my team.
  • Grievances or misunderstandings between coaches, officials or any other parties involved with the sport should be communicated through the proper channels, never on the field of play or in view of spectators or participants.  All field tents have the ability to communicate with the Tournament Director or Main Information Tent.
  • The use of profanity or vulgar language is unacceptable.
  • The value of good sportsmanship, the concepts of fair play, and the skills of the game should always be placed above winning.

Once a player registers as a Free Agent, their contact information will be sent to all attending coaches/directors.

If a team needs players for their team, the coach/director will contact the Free Agent directly.

If there player fee is set at $0, the coach/director will set their own Free Agent Price.

WEATHER POLICY
In the event of adverse weather or unplayable field conditions, the Event Director reserves the right to:
    • Reduce game times in order to catch up with schedule.
    • Finish game before inclement weather arrives, or to preserve field conditions.
    • Reschedule games, if possible.
    • Convert tournament to a “Festival” format (reduction of minimum games number) without playoffs or championships to provide the majority of teams the opportunity to play as     many games as possible.
Every attempt will be made to update cancellations on the website. However, the weather conditions can change rapidly and all teams should be prepared to play as soon as weather clears and fields are playable.

If lightning is observed at any location play will be suspended immediately. If it is the second half, the game will be considered final and the score at that point will be recorded. If it is the first half, when play resumes it will be the start of the second half. Every attempt will be made to begin subsequent games on time. If the start of the second half of the suspended game delays the onset of the subsequent game the following actions will occur:

    • The game suspended will play one 20 minute running time second half
    • Subsequent games will begin immediately after proceeding games (teams will warm up on the sideline prior to the game). These games will consist of two 20 minute running     halves until games are back on schedule.
    • Once games are back on schedule they will revert to two 25 minute running time periods.

We will make every attempt to play every minute of every game but the safety of players and all tournament attendees comes first.

No refunds will be granted if these actions are necessary after the start of the tournament.

Facility owners, not tournament organizers, have final say on whether the tournament will take place due to weather and field conditions.

In the event the tournament is cancelled prior to the start of the event, a partial refund may be issued. Final determination of refund amount will be on an event by event basis. All events have fixed expenses related to field rental & Facilities, set-up costs, insurance, personnel and other matters regardless of cancelation due to weather. Accordingly, no teams will receive full refunds of the registration fee if the tournament is canceled.

DANGER ZONES: Remind all coaches, players and spectators from your teams to be aware of their surroundings when they enter a lacrosse event facility. Danger Zone signs will be placed behind field endlines and in areas of high risk but be aware that flying lacrosse balls can cause injuries anywhere at any time. Never stand or sit behind a lacrosse field endline, even if protective fencing is present, and always use extreme caution when walking behind lacrosse field endlines.
