The first annual Wine Country Classic kicks off this Saturday in sunny, So Cal! Top teams from all over the West will descend on beautiful Galway Downs for their right to hoist an Adrenaline Events trophy on Sunday. Head-to-head competition is slated to take part across five divisions at WCC, while every game played counts in the 2021-2022 Adrenaline Power Rankings season.

Adrenaline returns to Galway Downs after holding a sold out, America’s Finest Rivalry Boys & Girls event this Summer. Nestled in the hills of So Cal Wine Country, Galway is a great escape for players & families. The So Cal weather and proximity to the West Coast speaks for itself, but the location is home to nearly 50 boutique and full-service resort wineries. Whether it’s the picturesque country views or the fine dining, family fun is on deck all weekend.

Before the action begins, read up on our division spotlights below:

2022 Division:

#10 SoCal Bulls is the team that everyone will have eyes on at the Wine Country Classic.  Coming in at #10 they have a chance to continue their streak, after winning America’s Finest Rivalry earlier in the year.  They look to bounce back after a devastating loss in the Championship at Tinseltown.  Be on the lookout for the sturdy Bulls defense.

2023 Division:

#29 Laxdawgs is a team that we are looking forward to watching all weekend long.  It depends what type of team they want to be, we have seen them be up and down at times, but expect a big weekend out of them up in Temecula. After a 4-1 showing at OC Fall Brawl a couple months ago they seem to be trending the right way.

2024 Division:

#26 Rainier Royals is a team to be aware of this weekend.  After competing at the Blackjack Classic filled with loaded teams in every division we expect them to respond big time in Wine Country.  They had a very strong showing earlier in the year at the Oregon Lacrosse Classic.

2025 Division:

#31 RC High School is a team that we are excited to watch this weekend.  A team that comes in ranked #31 but have played against some of the best out there so we are excited to see their talent down in Wine Country.  A team that really performed well at America’s Finest Rivalry earlier in the year!

2027 Division:

#19 RC Blues comes in as the top ranked team coming to this tournament, we will see if they will be able to sustain that.  After a tough one goal loss to Maddog LA at OC Fall Brawl in the semifinals this blues team looks to respond in a big way.  A team that has climbed in the rankings exponentially in the past year will be tested with some great talent in the 2027 division all weekend long.
