America’s Finest Rivalry

America’s Finest Rivalry is a revolutionary and unmatched lacrosse experience combining the highest level of regional competition, and NCAA recruiters with a top level destination event atmosphere. Hosted at one of the country’s premier tournament venues, the leading regional youth through high school teams compete while also enjoying the unique environmental factors that are quintessentially Adrenaline. New this year, college coaches will be in attendance to run collegiate level clinics and seminars with the high school aged players. Teams are guaranteed five games throughout the weekend, competing for the ultimate prize of the AFR Championship. ADRLN Reps onsite to mindfully recommend to coaches and their players other events that could be a good fit and value for them to attend in order to provide further collegiate exposure opportunities (Platinum Cup, Black Card, Atlantic Coast Prospect Games ACPG, NEPG, SAPG).

America’s Finest Rivalry 2016 from GameTime Footage on Vimeo.

An exclusive prospect day will proceed the event the day before where the college coaches will scout players in a boutique setting which consists of games and NCAA level clinics run by the coaches. Players benefit from interacting with the college coaches in drills and having their jersey marked before the team event begins. College coaches benefit from watching players showcase their talent in an individual setting, then see how the perform the following day when they join their team.

Don’t miss this opportunity!

Thank you for your interest in the America’s Finest Rivalry! We are very excited to work with you on this event!

We work closely with Maverick Sports Travel to not only source the best venues, but contract with a variety of hotels to fit everyone’s needs. We request to work with a wide variety of lodging partners in order to also secure excellent rates for all of our teams. In order to achieve this, Adrenaline has a Stay to Play policy so that the hotels, cities and counties are assured that the discounts they offer are used. We work closely with our lodging partners to track team reservations and the stay to play policy as well as ensure that there are enough rooms for all teams attending the event.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We will make sure that your teams are taken care of and in the best fit.

Adrenaline Name & Shield

As a Coach/Director, I understand that:

  • All of my players must be registered/paid prior to stepping foot on the field.  Any player not registered/paid will not be permitted to play.
  • Eligibility requirements, at all levels of the game, must be followed.  Rules and requirements such as age, previous level of participation, and team transfers, have been established to encourage and maximize participation, fair play and to promote safety.  Adrenaline Tournament Rules can be found on each event page.
  • I should always demonstrate positive behavior and reinforce these traits to players, parents, officials and spectators.  Players should be encouraged by coaches to demonstrate positive behavior and respect for teammates, opponents, officials and spectators.
  • Spectators will be informed that positive behavior is required at all events and they should not get involved in any on field disputes.
  • My first priority is the health and safety of the players assigned to my team.
  • Grievances or misunderstandings between coaches, officials or any other parties involved with the sport should be communicated through the proper channels, never on the field of play or in view of spectators or participants.  All field tents have the ability to communicate with the Tournament Director or Main Information Tent.
  • The use of profanity or vulgar language is unacceptable.
  • The value of good sportsmanship, the concepts of fair play, and the skills of the game should always be placed above winning.

Players interested in participating in an event but are not on a team MUST register as a Free Agent on the Adrenaline website. If there is a player fee, Free Agents must pay the fee. If they are not placed on a team the fee will be refunded.

Once a player registers as a Free Agent, their contact information will be sent to all attending coaches/directors.

If a team needs players for their team, the coach/director will contact the Free Agent directly.

If there player fee is set at $0, the coach/director will set their own Free Agent Price.

In the event of adverse weather or unplayable field conditions, the Event Director reserves the right to:
    • Reduce game times in order to catch up with schedule.
    • Finish game before inclement weather arrives, or to preserve field conditions.
    • Reschedule games, if possible.
    • Convert tournament to a “Festival” format (reduction of minimum games number) without playoffs or championships to provide the majority of teams the opportunity to play as     many games as possible.
Every attempt will be made to update cancellations on the website. However, the weather conditions can change rapidly and all teams should be prepared to play as soon as weather clears and fields are playable.

If lightning is observed at any location play will be suspended immediately. If it is the second half, the game will be considered final and the score at that point will be recorded. If it is the first half, when play resumes it will be the start of the second half. Every attempt will be made to begin subsequent games on time. If the start of the second half of the suspended game delays the onset of the subsequent game the following actions will occur:

    • The game suspended will play one 20 minute running time second half
    • Subsequent games will begin immediately after proceeding games (teams will warm up on the sideline prior to the game). These games will consist of two 20 minute running     halves until games are back on schedule.
    • Once games are back on schedule they will revert to two 25 minute running time periods.

We will make every attempt to play every minute of every game but the safety of players and all tournament attendees comes first.

No refunds will be granted if these actions are necessary after the start of the tournament.

Facility owners, not tournament organizers, have final say on whether the tournament will take place due to weather and field conditions.

In the event the tournament is cancelled prior to the start of the event, a partial refund may be issued. Final determination of refund amount will be on an event by event basis. All events have fixed expenses related to field rental & Facilities, set-up costs, insurance, personnel and other matters regardless of cancelation due to weather. Accordingly, no teams will receive full refunds of the registration fee if the tournament is canceled.
