Adrenaline will kick off the second half of Fall/Winter season in typical fashion, welcoming 100+ teams to the great city of Las Vegas for back-to-back SOLD OUT tournament weekends- Blackjack Classic & Sin City Showdown. One of the original locations for Adrenaline’s premier western team events, Las Vegas has expanded to two consecutive events to accommodate the growing lacrosse landscape west of the Mississippi. Both jam-packed events will serve as US Youth National Qualifiers for boys and girls teams on weekend one and two, respectively.

While youth and middle school boys programs compete for a Blackjack Classic championship title, high school teams will put on a show for 40+ college coaches including top programs such as UNC, Princeton, Navy, Towson, High Point and Bucknell. True, Doco, Legends, Lilac City, Movin Up, RC, NorCal Braves, Vegas Starz, Advnc, Florida Surge, Chaos, Evolve Alberta, LA Heat, Seattle Starz and Denver Elite are among the 37 DIFFERENT club programs that are in attendance this weekend. The 15 states that will be represented include CA, IL, IN, NV, CO, WA, TX, AZ, UT,  KS, OR, ID, WI, FL, MT and Canada. Click here for a full list of attending teams. Live scoring and rankings will be hosted on Tourney Machine over the weekend. The full schedule can be found here.

Players will have the opportunity to learn and interact with attending college coaches the Friday evening before the Blackjack event at the Las Vegas Regional Prospect Clinic. Players will be divided into teams based on position and taken through a series of high level drills and games run by some of the top college coaches. Players will benefit from learning from some of the top minds in the game in a boutique setting, while coaches get to have a hand in the growth of western talent. Additionally, the coaches will get to see players compete in an individual setting and watch them adjust to a team play over the course of the weekend. Its a great way for players to get one more solid look before the New Year.

The momentum will continue into weekend two for the Sin City Showdown with newly added girls divisions. Some program will be back for more while new ones will travel in from ten different states, including ID, NV, CA, WA, CO, UT, AZ, OH, KS and TX. Twenty-six different boys and girls programs will compete for division championships including Idaho Outlaws, Diamond Cut Crew, South Sound Starz, West Coast Starz, True, Verve, LA Mavs NorCal Rize, Movin’ Up, Maniax Lacrosse and Lady Rebels to name a few. Check out a full list of attending teams here.

The focus for US Qualifiers will shift to the girls for weekend two as the middle school programs will be vying for a spot to compete in PA next summer. This pool of teams will feature top programs from all over California, Washington, Colorado and Texas that continually travel back east to make a name for themselves. As the game continues to develop out west, more teams are breaking the mold to travel to new cities and compete against more teams. Not a bad play since the competition is strong, the weather is great, and the locations are fun for the whole family! Stay tuned for a full schedule coming soon.
