After three back-to-back events in Orange County, CA, Long Island, NY and Louisville, KY, Adrenaline returned to home base in San Diego to host 70+ teams at the all too familiar Del Mar Polo Fields for the America’s Finest Rivalry team tournament. A constant breeze made for the perfect two consecutive days of lacrosse, with strategic scheduling that allowed players and their families time to enjoy the local beaches and more. Each team played two regular pool play games on Saturday, with their first game of the day on Sunday determining their entrance into playoffs or if they play one last even match before they hit the road. Thirty club programs from all over the country fought for eleven division titles, with nine different clubs taking home the hardware: Movin’ Up, Denver Elite, 3D San Diego (who managed to grab three!), 395 Starz, Hot Sauce, Alpha U15, SoCal Express, Chauncey Boys, Seattle Starz. The clubs who claimed a title were from five different states: Nevada, California, Arizona, Washington and Colorado.

A new addition to this year’s San Diego team event included an individual Regional Prospect Day the Friday afternoon leading into the weekend. NCAA college coaches ran players through drills that not only prepared them for a long weekend of competitive lacrosse, but also gave the college coaches a more thorough and intimate look at the players who attended. The recruiters stayed through the weekend and were provided player information on select teams that signed up for the high school recruiting divisions. Seeing players adapt and perform in an individual setting, then join their team the following day is a format that recruiters have found to be extremely helpful in the scouting process.

All scores from the weekend can be found here. Congrats to Movin’ Up Elite, Denver Elite 2019 Blue, 3D San Diego, 2025, 3D San Diego 2021, AZ Hot Sauce U11, Alpha U15, 3D San Diego 2020 and Chauncey Boys 2021/22 on going undefeated on the weekend!
