3rd-4th Grade

GENERAL INFO

• The 3rd-4th Grade Spring Season will begin on Monday, March 8^th and end on Saturday, May 15^th.
• The season will consist of 16 practices and 8 games. Practices will be held at Encinitas Sports Park (Field #2) and Games will be a TBD location in North County.
• All players are required to have a current US Lacrosse membership. This is an SDYLA league requirement and provides for supplemental insurance coverage.  For more information on US Lacrosse and to become a member go to www.uslacrosse.org.

PRACTICE INFO

• Practice is every Monday & Wednesday at Encinitas Community Park (Field #2)  from 4:00pm-5:30pm.
• No practices on 3/29, 3/31, 4/5, through 4/7 for Spring Break!
• Each 90 hour practice will be split into 30 minutes of instruction, 30 minutes of drilling, and 30 minutes of scrimmaging.
• Encinitas Community Park is located at 425 Santa Fe Drive, Encinitas, CA 92024.

GAME INFO

• 4, Two-Game Regular Season Jamborees:  Saturdays April 24, May 1, 8 & 15 (note Sundays are a possibility).
• The game format this year will be 10 vs 10  (3 attack, 3 midfield, 3 defense, and 1 goalie). Long poles are not allowed!
• Players will be taught to play all positions, including goalie.

EQUIPMENT & JERSEY

• All players must have a stick, helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, cup, mouthpiece and cleats (soccer or football cleats work just fine).
• The club will provide a jersey, shorts, socks and helmet sticker.
• Players are responsible for providing their own water for all practices/game sessions.
• Starter sets are available at Lacrosse Unlimited in Solana Beach or at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

COST

• The Spring season fee is $295 until February 15, then increases to $350 after February 15.
