The Western Lacrosse Hall of Fame was created to honor, celebrate and commemorate the influential players and coaches of the western lacrosse world.  Whether it’s a player or coach, these individuals have demonstrated the highest level of skills and achievement within their position of lacrosse.  Additionally these outstanding individuals are recognized as accomplished citizens and role models, who live their lives with integrity and an unflappable moral compass.

Meg Carney

Megan Carney has distinguished herself as one of the most accomplished players of her generation, leaving a mark on every stage of the game. She first rose to prominence as the MVP of the inaugural girls’ Adrenaline All-American Game in 2018 before becoming a four-time All-American and two-time captain at Syracuse University, where she graduated among the program’s all-time leaders in goals and points. In 2025, she joined the Florida State coaching staff to help launch their women’s lacrosse program while also competing in the inaugural season of the Women’s Lacrosse League as a member of the New York Charging. Now inducted into the Adrenaline Hall of Fame, Carney’s career stands as a testament to excellence and continues to inspire the next generation of Western talent.

Taylor Thornton

Taylor Thornton, hailing from Dallas, Texas, is a celebrated figure in women’s lacrosse with a career marked by exceptional achievements. She led The Hockaday School to back-to-back state championships in 2008 and 2009 before becoming a standout at Northwestern University. A four-time All-American, she started every game of her collegiate career and earned the 2012 Lacrosse Honda Sports Award as the nation’s top player. Her remarkable contributions to the sport earned her a place in the Northwestern Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018. In 2023, she made history as the first female inductee into the Western Lacrosse Hall of Fame, cementing her legacy as a leader in the lacrosse community.

Ellis Henican

Peter Baum is a lacrosse legend from Portland, Oregon, celebrated for his trailblazing contributions to the sport on the West Coast. A standout at Colgate University, he earned the prestigious 2012 Tewaaraton Trophy as the nation’s top collegiate player, along with multiple All-American honors and Patriot League awards. Drafted #1 overall in the 2013 Major League Lacrosse Draft, he became a two-time MLL All-Star with the Ohio Machine. Known for his exceptional skill and leadership, Peter’s career has inspired a new generation of players in the western lacrosse community. Adrenaline Lacrosse proudly inducted him into the Western Lacrosse Hall of Fame, honoring his lasting impact on the game.
