Empire State Showcase is a premier individual recruiting event that connects players with top NCAA coaches. Athletes will run through high-tempo college-level practices and live games designed to maximize exposure, development, and evaluation. With registration capped at 120 players, the Showcase ensures meaningful instruction and visibility in an intimate Fall setting in New York.
The Empire State Showcase, held for a first time in Long Island, NY, is a premier opportunity for players to connect directly with top NCAA coaches while showcasing their skills in a focused, high-level environment. Designed as an affordable complement to tournament play, the Showcase naturally increases visibility with collegiate programs and provides invaluable recruiting exposure. Athletes will take part in a high-tempo, college-level practice that emphasizes individual fundamentals, positional training, small-number situations, and full-field transition. To close the session, players are divided into teams for live, competitive games, giving recruiters a complete picture of their abilities in both training and game settings. With registration capped at 120 players, the Showcase ensures maximum attention and evaluation for every athlete.

*Please note, all goalies are automatically placed on a waitlist at registration. We pull goalies into the event based on field player numbers and team formation, this way we ensure that we don’t have more than two goalies per team. Being waitlisted does not mean the event is full – please complete registration, and we’ll contact you when a spot opens.

Our event is a “Stay to Play” event: A good working relationship with hotels is critical for the long-term success of our event. For this reason, teams or attendees who are traveling from out of town are required to book their rooms through our Official Travel Partner, EventConnect, to ensure that our room blocks are utilized. In short, since the hotels are holding rooms for our event, we must use these rooms.
Once you have registered for the tournament, you’ll be directed into the hotel feed for accommodation options. These hotels meet certain standards and location guidelines set by the tournament and booking service.
Once you have found the hotel that best fits your team’s needs, you can block your rooms for free online and share your team block link with your group allowing reservations to be made.
Aligned Event is a designation given to independently owned and operated events that have chosen to follow a set of operational and safety guidelines set forward by USA Lacrosse. These tournament guidelines are a set of best practices that cover six main areas of an event: USA Lacrosse membership & age verification, game format, venue, risk management, event administration, and certified officials. When these practices are adopted in their entirety, events create a more positive experience for participants while receiving insurance and marketing benefits from USA Lacrosse.
