Deep South Box Immersion Camp

War for the South delivers a competitive summer tournament experience in the Southeast, bringing together youth through high school lacrosse programs for a high-energy weekend in Charlotte. Hosted at Charlotte Country Day School, one of the region’s premier athletic campuses, this event is designed for teams looking for strong regional competition in a structured and well-run environment.

Held each July, War for the South combines professional event operations, consistent game structure, and an engaging on-site atmosphere for players, coaches, and families across all age divisions.

  • Active USA Lacrosse membership required for all players
  • Team division placement is based on the oldest player’s age on the roster

Aligned Event is a designation given to independently owned and operated events that have chosen to follow a set of operational and safety guidelines set forward by USA Lacrosse. These tournament guidelines are a set of best practices that cover six main areas of an event: USA Lacrosse membership & age verification, game format, venue, risk management, event administration, and certified officials. When these practices are adopted in their entirety, events create a more positive experience for participants while receiving insurance and marketing benefits from USA Lacrosse.
