The Adrenaline Challenge has been a cornerstone of the Adrenaline events calendar since 2002, offering one of the most competitive and valuable recruiting opportunities in the country. Held each January in San Diego, California, the event provides players and teams with a welcome escape from winter weather while competing in what many consider to be the western club championship.
Last year’s tournament hosted over 200 teams from across the U.S. and Canada, with 75+ NCAA men’s college coaches in attendance. For sophomores and juniors, this event often marks their first legitimate recruiting exposure of the year, while talented seniors still on the market frequently find opportunities to round out collegiate rosters.
Over the course of the weekend, teams compete in high-level matchups across two full days of play, with the chance to prove themselves against the best programs in the country. Games are played on top-rated facilities, ensuring excellent conditions for athletes. Aligned Event is a designation given to independently owned and operated events that have chosen to follow a set of operational and safety guidelines set forward by USA Lacrosse. These tournament guidelines are a set of best practices that cover six main areas of an event: USA Lacrosse membership & age verification, game format, venue, risk management, event administration, and certified officials. When these practices are adopted in their entirety, events create a more positive experience for participants while receiving insurance and marketing benefits from USA Lacrosse.
