Hand speed warmup:
– Door knob drill 10 each way
– Chops for 10 seconds
– Ripcord drill 10 reps
– Hand Punch drill 10 reps
*Layers:
Layer 1 – Quick Rake
– Show how to flat line.
– flat line on their own 5 reps
– 2 go call, blow whistle for flat line then blow for rake and scoop. 5 reps
– 1 go call 5 reps
Layer 2 – Power Rake
– show how to ball pin
– ball pin on their own 5 reps
– 2 go call. Whistle 1, ball pin. Whistle 2, Power rake and scoop.
– 1 go call 5 reps
Layer 3 – Reverse clamp
– Demo
– rev clamps on own 5 reps
– rev clamp on whistle 5 reps
– 2 go call: whistle 1, reverse clamp whistle 2 exit. (5 reps each for offensive, backdoor and TTL exits)

*Partner up for Dummy Draws
– “Dummy” gives cadence
– Each partner does 3 reps of each layer. Start at layer 1 and alternate turns. Dummy does not lean over ball. Just keep head upright. Emphasize exiting, scooping and throwing back to partner as quickly as possible.

*Demo the shovel counter
– Partner up and practice 5 shovels each. “Dummy” starts in a plunger, gives cadence and partner executes shovel.
*Demo defensive rake
– quick rake while jumping to the right
– transition to reverse shovel.
– Partner up and practice 5 defensive rakes each. “Dummy” starts in a plunger, gives cadence and partner executes defensive rake.
*Water break and lives
– Top sidewall vs bottom sidewall
– Offensive moves vs counters
– Full lives (cant do same move 2x in a row)
– Tournament mode.

– Ex: always uses defensive exit = Line up wing to double and use reverse shovel
– GOAL: Make the only way they can beat you, their least used option
