About South Bend Starz

South Bend Starz is a youth lacrosse development program dedicated to growing the game in the South Bend community while building confident, skilled, and intelligent players.

Inspired by the culture of excellence surrounding Notre Dame lacrosse, the program provides an affordable, high-level training environment focused on long-term development. Athletes are taught not only how to play the game, but how to think it – with emphasis on fundamentals, lacrosse IQ, positional understanding, and decision-making.

Training sessions mirror the structure and pace of advanced systems at an age-appropriate level, giving players exposure to elevated concepts while building strong foundational habits.

With access to high-caliber coaching and deep ties to the local lacrosse community, South Bend Starz is committed to developing disciplined teammates, confident competitors, and leaders who elevate the standard of the game in the region.

  • Weekly Sunday training sessions

  • Age-appropriate instruction and curriculum

  • Structured skill development and competitive drills

  • Position-specific coaching and small-sided play

  • Experienced South Bend Starz coaching staff

  • Focus on fundamentals, confidence, and game IQ

Registration is available in two session packages:

Full Session (11 Clinics): $300 per player

Half Session (5 Clinics): $150 per player

Single-session registration is not available.

Spots are limited to maintain a strong training environment and maximize reps for each athlete.

The South Bend Starz sunday clinics are designed to build skill, confidence, and team chemistry – while laying the foundation for the formation of our official club team.

Players who participate in the clinic series will have the opportunity to transition into the South Bend Starz competitive club team following the conclusion of the spring session in June. This progression allows athletes to continue developing together within a structured, competitive team environment.

Once formed, the club team will include:

  • Structured weekly practices

  • Local and regional competition opportunities

  • Tournament participation

  • Continued growth within the Adrenaline Lacrosse ecosystem

Our goal is to provide players in the South Bend community with a clear pathway from foundational training to organized club competition — all within a supportive and intentionally built environment.

Additional details regarding team structure, season timelines, and competitive scheduling will be shared directly with parents by the coaching staff throughout the Sunday clinic sessions.

Due to the preplanning nature of events, Adrln enforces a “No Refund Policy”.  In order to help protect your travel and registration fee’s in the event you suffer an injury either on the field or off, illness or cancellation due to inclement weather,  we encourage you to purchase the new AIG insurance policy called “Registration Saver.”  The policy covers your registration and travel fee investment for the club season.  The premium cost is 7% of the season fee and will give you relief from our strict “No Refund Policy” should an issue occur before or during the season.

Please click here to receive a quote today. If you have any questions, please call AIG directly at 866-690-6859. They are open and available for questions concerning coverage and services 24 hours each day.

All players must register for tryouts in order to be considered for the team. A deadline will be given for season registration based on the clubs schedule. All players must be registered for the season by this deadline or they will risk losing their roster spot.

Players not registered by the given deadline will not be allowed to practice with the team or participate in any events until they appropriate registration/payments have been made.

There will be two payment options for the season fees:

  1. Pay in full
  2. Payment installment plan where the fees will be split into three installments due one month apart from each other. If this option is selected, the player still must be registered by the given registration deadline

Any player not registered by the deadline will not be provided additional payment options and will be held to the given payment due dates. All registrations and payments must be done through the website. Out of system payments will no longer be accepted.

If there is financial aid available for your club it will be distributed appropriately based on:

  1. Verified Family Income– The eligibility threshold is a combined parental Adjusted Gross Income of $60,000 (line 37 on the Federal Tax Return Form 1040). Additional factors such as unemployment or other financial hardships may also be considered by the Financial Aid Committee. To verify your income when applying for financial aid, you must email or fax a signed copy of the most recent Federal Tax Return Form 1040 (including specifically line 37) to info@adrln.com or (619) 610-9943.
