Adrenaline is on the road again this coming weekend for the storied Western Showcase & Western Shootout weekend in Aurora, CO. Among the 65+ teams in attendance is StickStar Lacrosse, made up of Dallas Select at the High School level, and Texas United at the Youth level. D1, D2, D3 and MCLA recruiters will be on site watching teams from a range of different states compete, and the talent out of Texas will not disappoint. About StickStar:
StickStar Select Travel Teams have traveled for 14 years starting in 2004. Dallas Select is in it’s 10th summer competing under that brand, and Texas United enters its 6th summer competing under that banner. Dallas Select serves as the HS Summer Program for StickStar. StickStar Teams travel as Texas United at the youth level all year round, and at the HS Level StickStar Select Teams play under the United Banner only in the fall.
Our Program is based out of Dallas but services Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Tulsa.
Favorite Club Memory:
Going on a run to the Championship at Gait Cup, where we went 7-1 against an incredible slate of teams. While we didn’t win the Ship, the road there was glorious, and full of Gasoline.
What makes StickStar so special?
We are a full service travel program. Our teams eat, train, sleep and compete together. On the other side of one of our back to back tourneys our squads are interacting and operating at an extremely high level. We believe that we’ve created a very unique club culture from top to bottom. Our HS teams have been wearing khaki shorts every summer for the past 10. We have #KhakiCulture.
