January 4th, 2015

The 2015 Adrenaline Challenge was a success in many ways, but it would not be what it is today without the ever-growing talent and consistent level of play that more recently spans both coasts. Recruiters year after year enjoy the trek to sunny San Diego to scout the nation’s top prospects, and this event has become an absolute must for locking in high profile recruiting classes.

Tension was high today as eight teams from each division were clawing for a championship title. Twenty-four teams headed into the playoffs with an undefeated record, which made for some highly anticipated match-ups, and even more exciting upsets for the lower seeds. Seattle Starz 2015 headed into the Adrln Elite playoffs as the #7 seed, beginning their day against #2 powerhouse, RC Silver. Although they fell short 7-5 in light of a typical RC Elite run, kudos to Seattle Starz for the 4-1 lead at half. This club never seems to disappoint as a whole and continues to be a strong competitor in this event. The Seattle Starz U15 Elite Navy team got revenge with an 8-7 win over RC U15 Silver in the South Swell U15 div. finals. Seattle Starz 2017 also took home a championship title after a hard fought battle against the only undefeated team in the Machine High School division, Booth Indians 2017.

The ADVNC program, known to have graduated a ton of top level commitments in the past two years, has really made a name for themselves in Northern California. The club has always been a big contributor to the high level of competition at the Adrenaline Challenge, hence the back to back U11 championship title for the 2022 team ((RC U13 Carolina will also add a trophy to their Challenge winnings). Two ADVNC U11 squads sweeped their respective U11 divisions this tournament, proving they are a force to be wrecken with in the coming years.

There was a stoppage of play mid morning for all High School players for the All Star games. Congratulations to all the stand out players who made the 2015/2016 and 2017/2018 rosters. The sidelines were packed with recruiters and fellow teammates cheered them on as they showcased their skills. The fluidity and quickness of play despite the multiple rivalries within each team is a testament to how good these kids really are. A smooth swing around the horn from a Seattle Starz player, to a Vegas Starz player, and in the back of the net off the hands of a Mustangs Starz attacker is a beautiful thing. Stay tuned for in depth player spotlights in the coming week.

Six different club programs from three different state and Canada took home a championship title this weekend, with ADVNC (2), RC (3), and Seattle Starz (2) walking away with multiple trophies. Legacy TAZ 2020 will head back to New York having absolutely dominated their division.

Congratulations to our 2014 Adrenaline Challenge Division Champions!
