Adrenaline Starz, the largest high quality club lacrosse program in the nation, provides players with the necessary resources to perfect fundamental skills, improve their understanding of team concepts, and guide them through a legitimate collegiate recruitment process. The Adrenaline Starz system is designed to be a powerful tool, constantly adding value and effectiveness to independent area club operators and their players. Starz players and coaches enjoy the benefits of being plugged into the most trusted and established recruitment system in the nation, which houses the prestigious #1 event in the country, Adrenaline Black Card. By extension, Starz players are the only players that qualify for the #1 club program in the nation, the highly touted West Coast Starz. WCS maintains a Collegiate Placement Success Rate (CPSR) of over 95%, with WCS-NSCLA teams at an all time high of 99% CPSR. Adrenaline Corporate, Starz Club Directors, and Starz coaches are mission driven and fully dedicated to serving the best interests of the Adrenaline Starz players.  Adrenaline Starz is comprised of a team of advocates ensuring that each Starz player has the opportunity to attend a college that best suites them. Adrenaline individual recruiting events reached all time high CPSRs in 2013 per event:  Adrenaline Black Card (92% CPSR), Adrenaline Showcase (88% CPSR), and Adrenaline High Rollers (75% CPSR). An ever-growing list of Adrenaline Starz commitments can be found on the Adrenaline blog.

The Adrenaline Starz club system differentiates itself from other club systems in that Starz works in conjunction with independent club programs to offer customizable services while also providing coaches and players with the proper tools for legitimate college recruitment success.  The 65 person Adrenaline corporate office is set up to offer various levels of service to accommodate the unique nature and needs of any independent club program. Our Adrenaline Advantage benefits system is built on three overarching Adrenaline Starz Mantras- OPERATIONS, ACCESS, and EXPOSURE. The commitment to the execution of each of these aspects will guarantee the success of any affiliated program. Club directors can choose from various benefit levels that utilize the full-service Operational, Branding, Design, Programming, and Marketing mechanism that only Adrenaline has established.

Adrenaline Starz serves as a highly effective club feeder system which generates a hierarchical structure of teams that operates on four distinct levels. The specifically designed progression of the Adrenaline Starz system begins at the Local Starz level, proceeds to the Regional Starz level, followed by West Coast Starz Sectional, and culminates with the #1 nationally ranked West Coast Starz National program.  Get an in depth look at each Starz level below.

Level One: Local Starz

Local Starz are high quality, competitive club teams composed of players from a smaller regional pool looking to play outside their regular season. Teams at the local level primarily focus on fundamentals of the game and skill development. As the newest level of the Adrenaline Starz system, these teams typically surround the veteran Regional Starz (level two) programs and enjoy the great experience of playing in local leagues and festivals.  Since its inception into the Adrenaline Starz system in 2011, Local Starz has averaged 10 new club programs per year with exponential growth in spring 2013, having signed a high of 16 additional club partnerships from May – September. Players who try out and play for Local Starz have an inside advantage for placement on a Regional Starz team, which opens access to the next-level West Coast Starz program and recommendations for Adrenaline Recruiting events. Local Starz directors and coaches are invited to assist with Regional Starz tryouts and player selections.

Level Two: Regional Starz

Regional Starz teams are highly competitive, geographically determined teams composed of the top players from various regions in the U.S and Canada. In the absence of a nearby Local Starz program, or if a player shows impressive skill development, players can enter the Starz system at the Regional level. The number of Regional teams accepted into the Adrenaline Starz system is dependent upon the amount of talented players within a specific region and is determined by an application process through the Starz Board of Directors. Each season Regional Starz teams attend an event with top-level collegiate recruitment elements to maximize player exposure. Regional Starz players are also the only players eligible for West Coast Starz; if they make one of the WCS Sectional (level three) or WCS National (level four) teams, they will attend additional top-level recruitment events on the East Coast. In an effort to balance the playing field, a Director from each Regional Starz program is invited to attend WCS tryouts and give input on players for the WCS Sectional and WCS National teams. In addition to the various team recruitment opportunities, Regional Starz players also receive premium access to the Adrenaline Evaluation Team (AET) who is responsible for player invites to the top individual recruitment events across the nation. Regional Starz Directors and coaches can assist in finding the right college for any individual Starz player. Six states (Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, Utah, and Washington) and one Canadian province (Alberta) are home to the sixteen Regional Starz club programs and seventy-six teams this past summer ('13). Regional Starz programs have an average (CPSR) Collegiate Placement Success Rate of 75%.

Level Three: West Coast Starz Sectional

West Coast Starz is the highest level of skilled and committed players within the Adrenaline Starz family and is divided into two segments: WCS Sectional and WCS National. WCS prides itself on maintaining rosters with the absolute top players in the West that aspire to play at the collegiate level.  Adrenaline Starz hosts a series of tryouts across the West every Fall/ Winter to determine WCS Sectional and WCS National rosters for the following Summer/ Fall tournaments. With the overwhelming development of talent in the West, WCS tryouts are open to anyone in the region who wants to play at the highest level; however, upon making a WCS Sectional or National team, players must have an affiliation to a Regional Starz program in order to qualify to play on the team.

After several extensive tryout and training camp weekends, select players from specific regions are chosen for the West Coast Starz Sectional and National teams, with a larger portion of players making one of four Sectional teams (listed below). WCS Sectional teams travel twice a year to compete at the top team recruitment events on the East Coast. In addition to maximum college exposure, WCS Sectional players reap all the benefits of the Adrenaline Advantage, including extensive recruiting advice, consulting, and assistance, training tips, nutritional information, and much more. Most importantly, WCS players have premium access to the Adrenaline Evaluation Team (AET) who are advocates for Adrenaline Starz players and are dedicated to placement of players on collegiate programs that best suit them. Collectively, WCS has a network of over 300 college coaches and can assist in finding the right school and program for each player. The Collegiate Placement Success Rate (CPSR) for WCS Sectional teams is 95%.

  • Southern California Sectional: (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego)
  • Desert Sectional: (Arizona, Nevada)

Level Four: West Coast Starz National

West Coast Starz is the highest level of skilled and committed players within the Adrenaline Starz family and is divided into two segments: WCS Sectional and WCS National. WCS prides itself on maintaining rosters with the absolute top western players that aspire to play at the collegiate level. After several extensive tryout and training camp weekends, select players from each region are chosen for the West Coast Starz Sectional and National teams, with only the 25 best players per grade across all WCS tryouts attaining a spot on a National roster. Players who make WCS National cannot play WCS Sectional.

West Coast Starz NSCLA is the most exclusive, #1 ranked club team in the country and is the pinnacle of the Adrenaline Starz system. The top 25 players per grade from the West are invited to travel east once in the Summer and once in the Fall to play with WCS National in the top recruiting events in the country. WCS is one of only 16 programs nationally with a coveted invite-only spot in the NSCLA Championships Cup where every recruiter in the country is in attendance. In 2012, three out of three WCS National teams (2014, 2015, and 2016) made it to the finals, and the 2016 team left the east coast #1 in the nation. Adrenaline Black Card is the most exclusive individual player recruiting event in the country and precedes the NSCLA Championships Cup. With only 100 players in the entire nation invited to showcase their skills, WCS National players get insider advantages to making a Black Card roster. WCS National players reap all the benefits of the Adrenaline Advantage, and most importantly, have premium access to the Adrenaline Evaluation Team (AET) who are advocates for Adrenaline Starz players and are dedicated to placement of players on collegiate programs that best suit them. WCS National enjoys a Collegiate Placement Success Rate (CPSR) of an astounding 99%, with top recruits playing at NCAA programs of all levels.

The 2013 Adrenaline Company Wide Statistics prove the Adrenaline Starz program is the best club network in the country. At the college level in 2013, there were 10 Adrenaline Alums named Division I All-Americans, 21 Adrenaline Alums who made NCAA all-conference teams, and 19 Adrenaline Alums who made all-league selections as underclassmen. On a grander scale, we found that in 2013, there were 333 western players on NCAA rosters, and 208 (63%) of them came through the Adrenaline program offerings. With countless players achieving their goal of collegiate level play, the Adrenaline Starz program continues to uphold the highest level of operational support, access, and exposure for all Starz programs. Club programs wishing to be a part of the Starz network must fill out an application to be reviewed by the Starz Regional Directors Advisory Board. To be approved, programs must exemplify high moral fiber, a mission based nature, a dedication to top flight coaching and the support of the local community or region. If your club program is not a part of the Adrenaline Starz Family and would like to join, please email us at info@starzlax.com. Adrenaline Starz is the antidote for average. All Fight, No Flight.
